Leta Lu Barkley to Become Bride of J.A. Harper

The wedding of Miss Leta Lu Barkley of Forney and A.J. Harper, Jr., 654 Kenwood, is planned for June 20 in the First Methodist Church of Forney.

The bride-elect, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Patterson Barkley of Hutchins, is a graduate of North Texas State College and a teacher in the Forney schools. The fugure bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Harper of Whitewright.

Miss Barkley has chosen her sister-in-law, Mrs. Lynn Barkley of Grand Prairie, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids will include another sister-in-law, Mrs. A.T. Barkley of Waco; Mrs. Phillip Baxter of Midlothian, Mr. Harper's sister; Mrs. Leon Wofford, Mrs. Jerry PRice of Fort Worth, Miss Jo Anna Irvin of Denton and Miss Sue Johnson of Forney Miss Betty Lu Barkley of Waco, the bride-elect's niece, will be junior bridesmaid.
