FORNEY, Texas, Sept. 10 - Miss Juanita Bowles, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Bowles of Forney, and Manford Blackburn, Dallas, son of M.F. Blackburn, Frisco, were married last Wednesday at the home of the bride's parents, with the Rev. Frank Blackburn of Holliday, brother of the bridegroom, officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Blackburn are on a wedding trip to Mexico, Colorado and Kansas.

Juanita Bowles Blackburn was a teacher in Forney. She was born 21 Sep 1910 and died 7 Jan 1999. Manford C. Blackburn, former Forney Mayor, was born 1 Feb 1900 and died 13 Nov 1988. They are both buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney.
