Marriage of James Hood & Doris Smith

Mr. and Mrs. James Frank Hood are residing at 2915 Knight following their marriage Oct. 8 and a honeymoon in Arkansas.

The bride is the former Miss Doris Ruth Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ewell M. Smith of Forney. Mr. Hood's parents are Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Hood, 1902 Cross.

The Rev. James H. Stanley of Forney read the wedding service in the Forney First Baptist Church. Mrs. Jimmy Smith and Miss Betty Williams presented nuptial music.

Mr. and Mrs. Darryle Newton were honor attendants. Miss Dorothy Smith and Bobby Roberson were were bridesmaid and groomsman.

Ushers were Bill Clark and Herby Roberson, both of Forney.

At the reception in the church following the ceremony members of the house party were Mrs. Clifford Herron, Mrs. R.T. Foster and Miss Mary Foster.
