The former Miss Sharon Kay Martin and her bridegroom, Billy Roy Kinard, will reside in Dallas when they return from a wedding trip to Hot Springs, Ark.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Martin of Edgewood and Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Kinard of Forney.

The Rev. A.L. Cates officiated at the wedding Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Edgewood. Miss Sharon Erwin presented music.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a taffeta and French lace gown fashioned with scalloped neckline and bouffant skirt. Her veil was caught to a sequin and pearl crown. She carried a white orchid atop a white Bible.

Attendants were Miss Earline Gammons of Edgewood, maid of honor; Miss Judy Allen of Edgewood and Miss Judy Wheeler, bridesmaids; Jesse English of Forney, best man; Dwain Martin of Mesquite and Everrett Ray Aslin of Crandall, ushers; James Stewart and Ted Gleghorn of Forney, candlelighters.

The reception was held at the church.
