Forney, Texas, May 21. – A local option election for this precinct has been ordered for June 7.

The Lewis academy has closed, Misses Mattie and Stella Starnes, Mamie Arnold and Mr. Roy Sowell graduating. 

The public school closes the last of this week.

Mrs. Voriss’ music class gave an entertainment at the close of the music school. 

The new Texas and Pacific depot is nearing completion.  It is built of brick and stone.
