Announcement of the engagement of Miss Charleta McMahan to Billy Wayne Hawk, 1429 Belmont, Mesquite, has been made by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie M. McMahan of Forney.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mrs. David Gunn of Sulphur Springs and Luther L. Hawk of Mount Vernon. His fiance is a former student of SMU.
